Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill
In August of 2012, Luna acquired Freedom Hill Amphitheatre, one of Southeast Michigan’s premier outdoor entertainment venues. The 7,500-person venue received approximately $2 million in upgrades in the spring of 2013 including technology, cosmetic improvements and an overall enhanced customer service experience in advance of the venue’s grand opening in June 2013. Freedom Hill Amphitheatre offers a first-class entertainment experience with nationally known artists such as Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson, Styx and Il Volo and dining options ranging from traditional concert fare to a private VIP dining experience. In 2014 after $250,000 in renovations, Freedom Hill opened the Banquet & Event Center and caters events for 250 people.
